Cinematic AI composition: framing and atmosphere

Arrange framing, depth and lighting for a cinematic AI scene with fictional adult characters.

Guide the viewer’s attention

Cinematic composition relies on visual hierarchy: the main subject, surroundings and open space. Decide what viewers should notice first. Close framing emphasises expression; a wider frame gives the setting more room. Adding too many secondary details can dilute the intention even with a capable model.

Create coherent depth

Separate foreground, subject and background. Side lighting or a contrast difference can help distinguish them. Photographic terms express a visual intention rather than a physical guarantee: a model does not necessarily simulate a real camera. Check shadows and perspective in the resulting image.

Adapt the idea to video

Keep the artistic direction for a clip but simplify its action. A dense composition that works as a still may become unstable in motion. Change one important element and inspect continuity. Every character must remain fictional and clearly adult, regardless of the chosen mood or style.
